August Devotion in the Church

August is the month traditionally dedicated to the Immacualte Heart of Mary.

St. John Paul II said, “From Mary, we learn to love Christ, her Son and the Son of God…. Learn from her to be always faithful, to trust that God’s Word to you will be fulfilled and that nothing is impossible with God.”

When we honor the Immaculate Heart, we give ultimate honor to Jesus. As we honor the Mother, we honor the Son. In addition, the Blessed Virgin is our mother as well (see Revelation 12:17), and her mother’s heart is incomparable. St. Louis de Montfort said, “If you put all the love of all the mothers into one heart, it still would not equal the love of the heart of Mary for her children.”

Annual Catholic Appeal 2026

Each year we participate in the Annual Catholic Appeal Campaign as part of the Archdoicese of Santa Fe.

This year's theme , "Fearless in Fatih, Boundless in Love",  is a call to live with unwaivering trust in God and to pour ourselves out in love for one another, as Christ poured Himself out for us.

Our parish goal is $9,000~ please us reach that goal! ACA pledge cards have been mailed out. Pledge cards are available at the back of church, or Parish office. Or go to the Diocese Website to  DONATE.
